The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is rumored to have entered production and will be unveiled in the US on January 17, earlier than the Galaxy S23. However, the phones are expected to be a minor upgrade over the current generation, with a similar design and specs. Veteran leaker Sonny Dickson has posted images of dummy units of the Galaxy S24 series, which suggest some subtle changes that give the phones a new character.

The Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus will have flatter edges, and the base model will be slightly taller and thinner than the Galaxy S23. The Galaxy S24’s screen is said to have grown from 6.1-inch to 6.17-inch and has slimmer bezels. Similarly, the Galaxy S24 Plus is expected to have thin, symmetrical bezels and appear slightly thicker than its predecessor.

As for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, it is expected to have a flatter display, be slightly shorter and wider, and have the narrowest bezel of any phone. The source of the leak is unknown, but well-known leakers have posted images of the same set of dummy units, implying that they could be a close approximation of the actual phones. However, it’s important to take this leak with a pinch of salt as the Galaxy S24 Ultra doesn’t appear to feature the new speaker design that was leaked by Ice Universe.
