Google made a big announcement back in May at I/O 2023. They revealed Teams for Android Auto, but left us hanging on the exact release date. Fast forward almost a year, and we finally have some clarity. Microsoft has confirmed that Teams will hit Android Auto next month.
Where did we find this info? It’s nestled in the Microsoft 365 roadmap. But that’s about all it gives us. No other juicy details to chew on. The only tidbit they dropped is that Microsoft Teams will make its grand entrance on Android Auto in February 2024.
Microsoft added a little note too. They say Teams on Android Auto will let users join meetings from the calendar view. You can also call your speed dial contacts quickly and see your recent calls on your Android phones. Handy, right?
