Full Story

Samsung’s been busting its chops, getting Android 14 updates out to as many gadgets as they can, and in record time at that. It all kicked off with their latest flagships, but soon enough, even the cheapest devices in the lineup were getting in on the action.

We’re talking five budget-friendly Galaxy phones here that either have the Android 14 update or are in line to get it. The Galaxy A14, A34, A54, A73, and M53, to be precise.

And guess what? We’ve got another one to add to the list. The Galaxy A24 is now getting its share of the Android 14 pie. Where, you ask? In the Middle East and North Africa, according to SamMobile.

If you’re in those regions, keep an eye out for firmware version A245FXXU3BWK3. You can find it in Settings, then Software update, and finally Download and install (if it pops up, that is).

Now, the One UI 6 update, which is based on Android 14, might not come with all the bells and whistles that the more powerful phones are getting. But, hey, the Galaxy A24 will still get the crucial ones.

Just like the other phones that got the update, the Galaxy A24 will also be getting the November 2023 security patch along with One UI 6. But remember, these Android 14 rollouts can take a while to reach everyone. So, if it doesn’t show up in the next few days, don’t sweat it.

Based on past experiences, Samsung’s pretty quick when it comes to making its Android OS updates available to everyone. So, rest easy knowing you won’t be left hanging for too long.
