Full Story

Well, the Galaxy A15 has been inching its way into various markets, low-key style. Samsung, though, didn’t bother to make any formal announcements about this phone until now.

Today, they’ve introduced both the 4G and 5G versions of this budget-friendly Galaxy phone. This is kinda surprising, considering Samsung just rolled out their new line of flagships, the Galaxy S24 series.

You read that right, the Galaxy A15 is one of the cheapest 5G phones you can get your hands on in the US. If you’re on the hunt for a budget-friendly 5G Android smartphone, you can snag the Galaxy A15 for just 200 bucks at Best Buy. T-Mobile’s got it too, but you’ll need to fork over $228 outright.

You’ve got two color options: Blue Black and Light Blue. Just a heads up, if you buy it from Best Buy, they’ll throw in a free $25 gift card and a month of Microsoft Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. Sweet deal, right? We’re expecting other retailers and carriers to hop on the bandwagon soon.

Don’t let the price tag fool you. Even though it’s one of the cheapest 5G phones in the US, the Galaxy A15 doesn’t skimp on specs. Samsung’s packed it with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, 8GB RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB storage (expandable via microSD).

The Galaxy A15 5G also boasts a 50-megapixel triple camera. This includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Screen-wise, the Galaxy A15 5G sports a large 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Not too shabby for a budget phone, eh?

Rounding up the key features, the Galaxy A15 5G comes with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, a hefty 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support, and Android 14.
