Samsung’s Android 14 updates are making the rounds. They’ve hit a lot of Galaxy devices, but the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ seems to be trailing behind. It’s one of the last tablets to get the software upgrade in 2023.
Android 14 rollouts are set to continue into 2024. But don’t hold your breath for new devices getting the update in the last few days of 2023. It’s not entirely impossible, but it’s unlikely.
What about those Galaxy owners who are still waiting for their update? Well, Samsung’s expected to release those in 2024. So, hang tight.
Now, back to the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. The update’s now available in a few countries. Australia and Turkey, for instance, are on the list (GSMArena spilled the beans). A Reddit user posted a screenshot showing the update weighing in at 2GB. It comes with the November 2023 security patch.
It’s the One UI 6.0 version of the update. Expect a revamped quick settings panel. It should make accessing frequently used features a breeze. The update also brings a spruced-up Home screen and widgets, a fresh design for emojis, and a ton of other improvements.
