Samsung and Maison Margiela have continued their collaboration, following up on the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela edition last year. Now, the two brands have revealed the Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela edition, which combines fashion and technology in a unique way. Stephanie Choi, EVP & Head of Marketing of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, emphasized that the collaboration aims to enable consumers to express their identity without limitation.
This special edition Galaxy Z Flip model features a rear glass design that showcases the inner workings of a Maison Margiela jacket, enhanced by silver and metallic effects. The color of the phone is exclusive to this edition and is achieved using a signature technique of the fashion house. Additionally, the phone comes with a Flap Leather Case made of natural black leather, woven fabric, and genuine fabric logo labels, along with two Flipsuit Cards that feature a paint splatter design and a silver plate, both displaying the Maison Margiela’s distinctive numbering design.
When attached to the back of the Z Flip5, the Flipsuit Card allows the foldable phone to display a new theme on the Flex Window, inspired by Maison Margiela’s Artisanal collection. Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela edition will be available from November 30 in select countries, starting with Korea, China, and Hong Kong, priced at around $2,000. This unique collaboration merges the worlds of fashion and technology, offering a premium and exclusive product to consumers.
